Pupils with Severe Learning difficulties (as specified within section IV of the pupil’s Statement of Special Educational Needs) will be eligible for admission to Fiveways School.
Admissions to the school will take place through close and joint working between the Local Authority (LA) and the school, with the Statutory panel of the LA or Special Needs Tribunal making the final decision on placement.
The admissions process is as follows:
* Early informal visit by parent/guardian
* Receipt of proposed Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), discussion with Casework Officer and consultation within school.
* Local Authority Complex Panel decision on placement.
* School informed.
* School Entry Plan meeting arranged.
If you are interested in finding out more about the school for your son or daughter, please do contact the school to arrange a visit. We can easily arrange a tour, so that you can experience the life and atmosphere of the school first hand.
We would like to show you our school and answer your questions.
