Please telephone the school by 8.15 am if your child is absent from school for any reason. However, if they have a planned Medical Appointment, please complete the Medical Appointment Notification in the Homelink Book.
Any child who experiences unusual diarrhoea &/or vomiting are required to stay at home until 48 hours after the last bout.
It is often time consuming and uncomfortable for children to have their slings guided into position around them. As the majority of our students have In-Chair slings we request that all pupils who have a sling and require hoisting, arrive in school with their, named, sling correctly positioned in their chair.
Although useful to know, it is often difficult to weigh children who are wheelchair users. As we have hoist scales in school, please just put a note in their Homelink book &, as soon as possible, we will be happy to weigh your child
Any Child who requires Medication to be given in School, either permanently or on a temporary basis must have an appropriate Consent Form. ALL MEDICATION must be correctly labelled with your Childs Name and the Correctly Prescribed Dose.
Any pupil who experiences, any form of, incontinence MUST wear appropriate swimwear products in order to access the School Hydrotherapy/Swimming pool.
The Orthotist from YDH visits the school on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Thursday morning of each Month. If you would like your child to be seen, please telephone 01935 384380. You are always welcome to be present for these appointments.
